Holguin's
sandy beaches -- protected by coral reefs and with mountains them –
are in Eastern Cuba. Nearby Naranjo Bay, (nature reserve ) is Pesquero
beach. Bahia de Naranjo is a National Park with exuberant and tropical
vegetation. It is at 14 kms. from Guardalavaca Beach and its commercial
centre and 60 minutes from the airport.
Pesquero beach, which is over 2950 feet (900 meters) long, is pristine and beautiful. The beach isn't for cuban people. This beach is significantly more private. The beach was absolutely spectacular here. It is protected by extensive coral reefs, escarpments, cliffs and lush vegetation and the welcome bonus was that there was plenty of shade under the numerous trees that lined the beach.
The area also contains others beautiful beaches which blends open spaces, architecture and the world of nature in perfect harmony; and Blanca (White) Beach, another site with very fine sand and unbelievably beautiful water near Cayo Bariay, the place where Christopher Columbus first set food on Cuban soil.
The
visitor can rent cars and mopeds and swimming with the dolphins at nearby
the Bahia Naranjo. At Pesquero Beach activities, include sunning, swimming,
scuba diving, snorkling, other water sports, beach volleyball, tennis,
excursions on yachts, horseback riding, cycling and hiking.
There are beautiful resorts in Playa Pesquero. Designed especially with
rest and relaxation in mind, this is a perfect hideaway for honeymooners.
But not only couples will enjoy the splendid resort, there are many facilities
for groups.
