Playa Yuraguanal is a private stretch of man-made beach approximately 800 meters long located at the west of Guardalavaca, Holguin, in the eastern part of the country. Opposite the beach is this all inclusive resort.

The Hotel Occidental Grand Playa Turquesa combines a luxuriant vegetation with a modern architecture. The lobby, the most of the restaurants and the rooms are at the top of a hill. The resort offers seven pools and 531 rooms. This is a huge resort.

There are some excursions for the visitors, the catamaran tour that include snorkeling on the corals and swim with dolphins and the Jeep Adventure Tour. The visitor could drive the cuban countryside and ride horses.

The hotel is fully accessible for handicapped guests, ramps connect all of the main area of the hotels, including the restaurants, shops and pool area.
