Mi Cayito Beach
Following Santa Maria beach and before getting to Guanabo there are some kilometers of beach that Cuban people call Boca Ciega. This is a pleasant beach because there are high dunes sown with coconut palms that protect bathers from the sun.
Megano Beach
Lies further east and forms the westernmost of the Playas Del Este. It, too, has a sand volleyball court, shade umbrellas, and lounge chairs.
Playa Tarará | Havana
The next beach between Bacuranao and El Mégano is a tourist resort called Tarará, 20 kilometers away of Havana. Its marina (Marina Tarará) is the perfect place for those who want to go out fishing or diving.
Guanabo
27 kilometers away from Havana, Guanabo Beach occupies the coastal strip of the town of Guanabo. With 25 kilometers of beaches it is the most visited of the Playas del Este. In the summer, it can gather up to 120 thousand visitors. It has shopping centers, restaurants, bars, nightclubs.
Santa Maria del Mar
With 8 kilometers of good quality sand, Santa María del Mar is the longest beach of the north littoral of Havana. It has many hotels and villas, as well as restaurants, nightclubs, and bars by the seashore. In Santa María del Mar, tourists can enjoy catamaran rides, rent jet skis, sail boats, rowboats and explore its many other attractions.
