A smaller beach lies tucked between cliffs at the mouth of the Rio Jibacoa, about three kilometres east of Santa Cruz del Norte, bracketed by rocky headlands.

On the north coast of Havana Province (Santa Cruz del Norte), 60 km. from the capital city and 50 km. from Varadero, Jibacoa is located: a beach of remarkable beauty on account of the peculiar layout of the more than 100 meters high hills surrounding it.

Just 25 minutes from the capital city, in the way to Pinar del Río, lies this beach. It is very popular among the habaneros, who can frequently enjoy these warm waters thanks to their closeness to the city.
